Salt on watermelon is a classic salty-sweet combination long enjoyed in the Southern United States.


  • 1 ½ parts Redemption High Rye Bourbon Whiskey
  • 1 ½ parts Salted Watermelon-honey Cordial
  • ½ part lemon juice
  • 2 parts tonic

Watermelon-honey Syrup: Blend 1 cup Watermelon Purée (Perfect Puree or real ingredients) with 1 cup honey simple syrup. Add 2 teaspoons maldon salt and stir to dissolve. Cool in the refrigerator. Keep fresh for about one month.


  1. Shake with ice
  2. Strain into a Collins glass
  3. Top with tonic water.
  4. Garnish with a watermelon radish slice.
